Iraq: Main destination for Iran’s nanotechnology products

The director of Iran-Iraq Business Cooperation Office, Kaveh Daliri, said on Sunday that most of Iran's nanotechnology products have been exported to neighbouring Iraq over the past two years.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Kaveh Daliri added: "Iraq is a country which needs everything from clothing, to water treatment equipment, industrial equipment, etc. since the country has been caught up in wars and fighting for many years."

He added: "This has opened up the way for the export of Iran’s nanotechnology products to Baghdad."

Commenting on joint ventures and joint projects, Daliri said: "Suitable ways have been found for the two countries to make joint-venture investments in the field of nanotechnology."

According to an Iran Press report, Daliri added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has high potential and expertise in the nanotechnology field, and can export its high-quality products to target countries especially Iraq."

Daliri emphasized: "We want to export nanotechnology products to neighbouring Iraq at a competitive price, so that opportunities are created for Iranian companies to do business, and expand their trading activities in Iraq."

Turning to exchange of knowledge-based products between Iran and Iraq, he said: "According to the Nanotechnology Development Headquarters, most Iranian nanotechnology products have been exported to Iraq in the past two years."
