Khosravi Border (IP) - The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) said the operations of this society in Iraq to serve Arba'een pilgrims have increased by 40% compared to last year.

Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with the Iran Press news agency on the Khosravi Frontier, Ali Asghar Peyvandi said 4 helicopters, 200 ambulances, and trained volunteers were deployed at the Kermanshah, Ilam and Khuzestan border crossings.

The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society said: "200 tons of medicine along with forty-five ambulances and 2500 specialized trained volunteer personnel were deployed in sixty centers in the Iraqi cities of Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimiya, and Samarra."

According to Peyvandi, the statistics indicate that the IRCS operations of the society in Iraq to serve Arba'een pilgrims have increased by 40% compared to last year.
