Iran Press/ Asia: The first shipment of Iranian aid to flood victims in Malaysia, including clothing, water, food, and sanitary items, was delivered at the Iranian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur to Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid, head of the Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organisation (MAPIM).
Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid, President of the MAPIM foundation, thanked the Iranian community living in Malaysia and said: Iran as a supporter of Malaysians in hard times, under the harsh conditions of oppressive sanctions, has shown its commitment to human and religious responsibility, and the Malaysian people will never forget this support and sympathy.
The Iranian ambassador to Malaysia also praised the Iranian community living in Malaysia for their extensive participation in assisting the flood victims.
In addition to collecting essential aid, some Iranian companies based in Malaysia also voluntarily provide relief to the displaced and injured in the flooded areas.
