Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of Iran's National Nanotechnology Initiative reported the development of devices for early diagnosis of cancer, by Iranian experts.

Iran PressIran news: Since about two decades ago, Iran has applied nanotechnology in the production of some goods in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and industry, and it has prepared the grounds for the export of these products.

The Secretary of Iran's National Nanotechnology Initiative Emad Ahmadvand says the clinical diagnostic devices were added to the institute to expedite the diagnosis of cancer in the country.

Ahmadvand said that in the committee, the new product was supposed to be commercialized in line with the diagnosis of several types of cancer, including the early screening of colon cancer.

Iran is one of the active members of the International Committee for Nano Standardization and has developed about 12 international standards in the committee. 219
