Iran Press/ Asia: The Iranian ice hockey player girls made their way to the finals of the competitions but were defeated 3-1 by their Thai rivals on Sunday and sufficed to the vice-championship title.
The Iranian women athletes managed to reach for the first time the finals of the Asian championship after overcoming India, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, and Singapore.
The IIHF Ice Hockey Women's Asia and Oceania Championship kicked off in Bangkok on April 30. It will wrap up on Sunday, May 7, when Iran will play against Thailand.
