Iran Press/ Middle East: The Iranian athletes managed to secure four quotas during the Asian Shooting Championships 2019, so that the Iranian shooting team will travel to Tokyo Olympics with six athletes.
Haniyeh Rostamian, Javad Foroughi, Mahyar Sedaghat, and Fatemeh Karamzadeh won the Olympic quota in Doha. Najmeh Khedmati and Aramina Sadeghian had already won their quotas.
Among the participating countries, 15 countries managed to secure these quotas. India topped the list with six quotas. Japan and Thailand each received 5 quotas.
Kazakhstan, Kuwait, North Korea, South Korea, China Taipei, and Pakistan each won two quotas. Indonesia, Qatar, Lebanon, and Singapore each received a single quota.
