The managing director of Kish free trade zone organisation, Mohammad Ebrahim Ansari-Lari has said: "We must share our knowledge and expertise with the rest of the world. In a world which is changing fast, we must interact with other countries and exchange ideas."

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Monday, the managing director of Kish free trade zone organisation, Mohammad Ebrahim Ansari-Lari said we hope to  attract foreign investments to Iran, and in particular, in projects in Kish free trade zone.

Speaking on the sideline of an investment conference in Kish Island, meant to attract foreign investors into Iran, Ansari-Lari said we have prepared a booklet detailing 30 very important projects in Kish Island.

He added: "Special economic zones and free trade zones have a greater chance of attracting foreign investors because of the special incentives offered there. Conferences such as these are meant to present opportunities for investment in Iran in general;, and in special economic zones in particular."

In further remarks, Ansari-Lari stressed: "We must share our knowledge and expertise with the rest of the world. This is essential. This conference provides an opportunity to interact with major foreign companies and firms, and we must interact with leaders of industry, job creators  and entrepreneurs, both domestic and foreign, and we must share our expertise and knowledge with them."

He added: "Today the world is changing fast. In economics and job creation everything is becoming knowledge-based and innovation is also very important. These kind of conferences can help us learn new ideas, and hopefully our economy will improve and we can attract significant amount of foreign investments."
