Iran Press/ Iran News: The people of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province, attended the ceremony.
On Saturday evening (May 20), the miscreants, misusing the territory of Pakistan and violating the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a terrorist and cowardly act, attacked the border guards of the Saravan border regiment. The incident led to fierce resistance from the brave border guards and the martyrdome of some of them. Then the assailants fled into the soil of Pakistan.
In this conflict, two of Iran's border guards were also injured.
Mrs Farah Azeem Shah, the spokesperson of the government of Balochistan province of Pakistan, condemned the terrorist attack on Iran's border guards and condoled the government and nation of Iran on the tragic incident.
