Iran Press/Iran News: The new medicine produced by Iranian researchers to help those diagnosed with ALS. The medicine is significant due to its role in currency profitability for the country.
Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology, Sorena Sattari highlighted Iran's progress in biotech in Asia, stressing that the country's youngsters must be given room because they create job opportunities and counter the oil depended economy compensating for foreign brands.
"We have a significant amount of investment in this field and will use Iranian young talents," he said.
Mohammad Reza Fazeli, head of presiding board of Bioferment knowledge-based companies noted that the companies produced all of their needed medicine engulfing independently in a situation of tough sanctions.
The secretary of Biotech staff Mostafa Ghanei said the knowledge-based company managed to do the primary registration of the medicine in Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and as soon as the international body tests it clinically it will be manufactured in the country.
