Iraq (IP) - On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, IRIB's TV and radio programs will be broadcasted from Najaf and Karbala in Iraq.

Iran PressIran news: The Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization's office in Iraq said that the office has recorded and broadcast programs prepared by different groups in different cities of Iraq during the celebration of the Islamic Revolution's victory.

Mostafa Mousavi reported that the programs will be broadcast in Najaf, Karbala, Baghdad, Basra, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, with such figures presenting speeches as the leader of Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim and Iran's Ambassador Mohammad-Kazem Al Sadegh.

Broadcasting the national anthems of Iraq and Iran, honoring activists and writers in the Islamic Revolution's field, and performing songs are among other programs. 

Mousavi went on to say that some programs were specific to the Iranians living in Iraq and some were specific to the Iraqis that would be broadcast in Arabic. 

Forty-four years ago, on February 11, 1979, the Iranian nation led by Imam Khomeini succeeded to oust the US-backed Shah regime and established the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the people's votes.
