Iran news/ According to an Iran Press report, interior minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, heading a high-ranking political-security delegation, has arrived in Turkish capital Ankara on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters upon arrival in Ankara, Rahmani Fazli said the one-day visit takes place in response to a recent visit to Tehran by the Turkish interior minister, Süleyman Soylu, and his accompanying delegation. Rahmani-Fazli said: "When the delegations of the two countries meet, we shall discuss border issues, as well as combating human trafficking and the fight against drugs. We shall also discuss the fight against Terrorism."
In further remarks, Rahmani Fazli welcomed expansion of relations between Tehran and Ankara, saying relations are constantly expanding.
The Iranian interior minister stressed that close coordination and frank discussions between Tehran and Ankara will result in better security along the border between the two countries.
