Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said that media are the commanders of warfronts in their field.

Iran PressIran news: By referring to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's remarks about media war on Thursday, Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said that We have expectations from all internal media in a time of economic and media war. They are the commanders of media warfronts.

"I know it well that internal media, especially the media manpower in Iran has a great potential. Media internal manpower has enough motivation, great experience and knowledge, so I am sure that they will be successful," Iran's Interior Minister noted according to Iran press news agency.

"We have a great potential in news arena in Iran, including IRIB, newspapers, cyber space, sites, Friday Prayer Imams, and also parliamentarians. The first issue is policy making, unity and notification speed along with accuracy," Rahmani Fazli added.

The leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the enemy wants to paint a false picture of Iran, and he went on to warn: "Media as a tool in the hands of the enemy can be a very dangerous thing. As dangerous as chemical weapons."

Meanwhile, Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli who is also the Chief of State Economic Information and Advertising Board said: "In the first session of State Economic Information and Advertising Board all the members have participated in it. In the first session the members agreed on the determination of related policies, creation of working groups and having reasonable and proper relations with people by releasing certain and on time information to the nation.

"Economic vacuum should be solved by the organizations which are in charge, and also deviation of news by foreign media should be stopped by giving proper information to people," Iran's Interior Minister noted.

"Also the repetitive and contradictory news related to Iranian organizations which have a negative effect on people's decision making should be responded," Rahmani Fazli said.

"By the motivation that I have witness in the members of State Economic Information and Advertising Board, the economic vacuum will be filled," Iran's Interior Minister concluded.

In Sep. 30, The head of Iran's newly-established 'State Economic Information and Advertising Board' has emphasized that the government has decided to supply accurate economic news and information on the state of the economy to media outlets as well as the general public.
