Iran Press/ Iran news: After 3 days of competitions in the 12th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships, the Iranian girls stood in first place in Asia, and the Iranian boys also sufficed to win 3rd place.
285 taekwondo players from 26 countries went up on Shiapchang (Taekwondo mattress) at Nouhad Naufal Indoor Sports Stadium in Beirut.
The Iranian girls' team won 9 medals, including 6 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze; Thailand's female team won the runner-up title, and South Korea stood in third place.
The Iranian boys also managed to win 6 medals, including 2 golds, 2 silvers, and 2 bronzes, and won 3rd place; South Korea's team won the championship title, and Uzbekistan sufficed to be the runner-up.
