Iranian film ‘Forty-Seven’ directed by Ahmad Otraghchi won two Lifft India Filmotsav awards.

Iran PressAsia: Directed by Ahmad Otraghchi and Alireza Ataullah Tabrizi, the film entered the competition section of the fourth Lifft India Filmotsav and won two awards of the event.

The award for best sound design went to Ramin Abdolsedagh and the award for best cinematography went to Hashem Moradi, the cinematographer.

The film narrates the story of three middle-aged women from different social classes who inadvertently affect each other's lives on the longest night of the year.

The cast includes Hamidreza Azarang, Mahdi Ahmadi, Ladan Mostofi, Rima Raminfar, Shaghayegh Farahani, Mohammad Reza Ghafari, Sheida Khaligh, Mehrnoosh Sattari.
