Britain's foreign ministry on Wednesday summoned the Iranian charge d'affaires over the transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia.

Iran PressEurope: "Today, in coordination with European partners and upon instruction from the Foreign Secretary, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in London was summoned to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office," the foreign ministry said in a statement.

According to a report by CNN, quoting unknown sources, it is claimed that Iran has transferred short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for use in military operations in Ukraine.

According to this report, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands also summoned the Iranian ambassador to that country.

In response to this news, the spokesperson of the United Nations said that we have seen these reports, but we have no way to confirm this news.

Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi pointed out that once again America and Europe acted based on wrong information and flawed logic. He emphasized: "Iran has not sent ballistic missiles to Russia."

He added: "Sanction addicts should ask themselves: How is Iran able to make sophisticated weapons and sell them according to your claim?"
