Tehran (IP) - A gathering of Iranian actors, actresses, and cinematographers was held in Tehran's Museum of Contemporary Art in protest against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian artists attended the protest against the crimes of the Zionist regime while sympathizing with the Palestinian nation and the oppressed people of Gaza, condemning the anti-human actions of this regime.

Iranian painters also designed works on the subject of Palestinian people in the outer area of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.

Mahmoud Salari, Deputy of Iranian Culture minister in the gathering said: "Today, everyone understood that Israel cannot protect its citizens. He added: coming here today means, first of all, to defend the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine, and secondly, it means that Israel is no longer recoverable.

In another part of the ceremony, Hamid Reza Noorbakhsh, CEO of House of Music, said: "The scenes we all face these days are more sad than we can talk about."

He added: "Silence and support for oppressors is very painful. We artists cannot remain silent against these crimes and we hope that this genocide will be stopped."

The continuance of the racist approach of the Zionist regime and the killing of the oppressed Palestinian people caused the Palestinian resistance to inflict heavy and irreparable blows on this regime in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation on October 7, 2023.

Therefore, to compensate for its terrible failure, the Zionist regime has turned to the killing of civilians and the oppressed people of Palestine, with the aim of destroying the residential, medical, mosques and gathering places of Palestinian refugees in Gaza.

In the aftermath of two weeks of Israeli attacks on Gaza, at least 4,385 people have been including 1,756 children and 967 women.

Nearly,14,000 Palestinian people were also injured.

A large number of people are still under the rubble.
