Baku (IP) - The Iranian ambassador in Baku has criticized the British ambassador in Tehran's Twitter message regarding the terrorist attack in Shiraz.

Iran PressAsia: Simon Shercliff, the British ambassador in Tehran, tweeted: "I was deeply affected by Sunday's events in Shiraz. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims."

Calling the terrorist act an "incident" and "violence," he added: "Violence against people, in any form, is unjustifiable."

Commenting on the British ambassador's tweet, Abbas Mousavi, Iranian ambassador to Baku, wrote: "Mr. Ambassador! Reducing terrorism to mere violence or incident aligns with your Western perspective of categorizing it as good or bad. While you label the stabbing incident in London as terrorism, you turn a blind eye to real acts of terrorism."
