Iran Press/ Iran News: In a phone call with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi addressed some international issues and Tehran-Muscat ties.
Iranian President Raisi noted that Iran and Oman are enjoying the highest level of political trust and cooperation and assessed Tehran-Muscat ties as growing in various fields.
Highlighting Iran's resolve to diversify and cement ties with Oman, Raisi expressed hope that Iran-Oman interactions and exchanges would continue to develop like the past year.
He also referred to the US miscalculation and involvement in inciting and fomenting the recent riots in Iran and pointed out that the US mistakenly thought that their sanctions would stop the nation of Iranian, but when they saw that the sanctions did not stop the Iranian nation and it was continuing to develop and progress, they turned to fabricate sedition against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Iranian president further warned Washington that the Iranian nation would not remain idle in the face of US belligerent actions.
The Sultan of Oman, for his part, stated that he follows up on the implementation of the agreements with Iran, underlining that the mutual relations are progressing and the two nations are benefiting from the growing trend.
