The Iranian para-athletes won 2 silver medals in the Para track and field competitions, finishing Paris 2023 Para Athletics World Championships with total 12 medals and 16 para-Olympics spots.

Iran PressIran News: Sajjad Mohammadian, stood in the second place in the F63 category with a record of 14.38 and won a silver medal while securing a quota for the Paris Paralympic Games.

Also, Sadegh Beit Sayah, stood in second place in the F41 javelin throwing event with a record of 45.46. By winning the silver medal of the World Championships in France, Beit Sayah snatched the Paralympic quota in Paris.

Paris hosted the Para Athletics World Championships from 8 to 17 July at the Charlety Stadium. Over 1200 athletes from 107 nations took part in this year's event. 

At the end of the world championships on Monday, Iranian para-athletes earned 16 Paris Paralympic spots and 12 medals (4 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze). 219
