Irish embassy to reopen in Tehran

The Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on the sideline of the 141st session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union welcomed the reopening of the Irish Embassy in Tehran.

Iran Press/ Iran news: The Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on the sideline of the 141st session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in a meeting with Speaker of the Irish Parliament Sean ? Feargha?l said: "The opening of the Irish Embassy in Iran, in addition to enhancing political relations, facilitates economic and cultural consultations."

Hhe further added: "Iran has done its job well in the nuclear deal, but the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the agreement has created many problems in developing Iran's relations with other countries, including European countries," Iran Press reported.

The Speaker also stressed the need for increasing economic cooperation, the creation of a banking channel, the re-opening of the Irish Embassy in Tehran and solving the vexed question of Brexit.
