Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, met and talked with Ezzatollah Zarghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran at the place of this ministry in Tehran.

In a meeting with the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Iran mentioned holding a tripartite meeting between Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in order to strengthen road and rail infrastructure, remove obstacles and facilitate the issuance of visas.

According to Iran Press, in this meeting, Zarghami emphasized the deep belief of the parties in strengthening tourism and cultural heritage.

Iran's approach is based on the development of tourism cooperation with neighboring countries, holding combined and low-cost land tours between Iran, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, holding a tripartite summit in order to strengthen the rail and road infrastructure, removing obstacles and facilitating the issuance of visas, commonalities and cultural and historical affinity between two countries were among the issues raised by the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in this meeting.
