Madrid (IP): The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, defending the rights of the Palestinian people, stressed the need to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime and the US breach of promise.

Iran PressEurope: "Ali Nikzad", The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, who headed a parliamentary delegation to Madrid to attend the 143rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) explained the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday.                                                                                        Regarding various regional and international issues, Iran stressed the need to support the Palestinian people, adding: "The Zionist regime commits any crime with the support of the United States."

The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran said: "By adopting selective policies, the US government has let its friends, especially the Zionist regime, as the world's largest terrorist garrison to commit crimes such as production and development of weapons of mass destruction, establishment of terrorist organizations, military occupation of other countries together with " the gross violation of human rights and in turn,  put freedom seeking and independent nations who oppose such polices under all sorts of hardware and software pressures with false accusations.

Nikzad went on to point to the US response to the nuclear deal as a concrete example of the US non-compliance with international obligations, rules and regulations, saying: "While the Islamic Republic of Iran has acted with full honesty and transparency in its obligations under the nuclear deal, the United States and the European powers have not only failed to fulfill any of their obligations under this international agreement, but they have also had a negative impact on various aspects of the lives, welfare, health, healthcare and treatment of Iranian citizens by imposing severe inhumane sanctions. .

The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) was founded in 1889. The National Assemblies of 178 countries are members of the World Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the 12 regional parliamentary assemblies are considered as its affiliated members.
