A new precision-guided land, air missile was unveiled on Monday morning in the presence of  Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Amir Hatami.

Iran Press/Iran: This Home-Made anti-radiation missile dubbed Fateh Mobin, can target goals in land and sea.

Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Amir Hatami, who was present at the inauguration ceremony, said  Iran will continue to maintain its advanced deterrent missile program.

He added,The Defense Ministry’s Aerospace Organization is capable of fulfilling practical needs of the Armed Forces by turning ideas into products in a short span of time.

Hatami said the missile was being manufactured for the first time in Iran, adding the projectile had been designed and produced using state-of-the-art technology, and could be engaged against various aggressive aircraft within its operational range.

Mass-production of the new missile will help Iran make major strides in boosting its defense capabilities and deterrent power, the general added.

He further stressed that the Iranian Armed Forces will never back off from plans to promote the missile industry and enhance the capabilities of homegrown missiles.

Denouncing the foreign interference in Iran’s defense sphere and the attempts to cap Iran’s missile power, Brigadier General Hatami said Iran will never allow the outsiders to interfere in its domestic issues.

Last month, Iran unveiled the mass-production line of a medium-range air-to-air missile, Fakour.

Fakour is a radar-equipped mid-range air-to-air missile which has been designed and built with the help of the latest state-of-the-art world technologies.

The United States claims that Iran's missile tests and rocket launches violate UN Resolution 2231, which was adopted in July 2015 to endorse the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany.

Resolution 2231 calls on Iran "not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology."

Iran has strongly rejected the US allegations that it has violated UN resolution. Tehran insists its missile tests and rocket launches are solely for defense purposes and not designed to carry nuclear warheads.
