Tehran (IP)- The vice President of the Iran University of Medical Sciences for international affairs announced the opening of the university's branch in West Africa in the near future.

Iran PressIran News: According to Mehdi Moqtadaei, the first branch of Iran University of Medical Sciences in West Africa will commence teaching nursing and midwifery in August-September.

Mehdi Moqtadaei explained the university's internationalization programs at the World Health Organization's internationalization conference and said: Currently, 88 organizations in the world are active in the health field, which is one of the most important.

The International Vice President of Iran University of Medical Sciences added: One of the university's measures for internationalization is the discussion of establishing international branches, which is why the establishment of the university branch in Ghana has been keyed.

Referring to the measures taken by Iran University of Medical Sciences for internationalization, he said: We should also use our representatives in international organizations in the field of health in the best way, therefore recruiting foreign students and communicating with the people of these institutions is one of the actions taken by the university.
