Iran Press/ Iran News: Referring to the beginning of the main and operational phase of the 11th aerial exercise of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Air Force, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the Air Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Nahaja) said that it will be held with the participation of all Air Force bases and centered on the Shahid Babaei Air Base in the Anark area of Isfahan.
The commander of the Air Force stated that some of the planes and fighters of this force have been stationed at the Isfahan base for the past few days and said: "In this exercise, young and creative personnel who have learned all their specialties in Iran under the supervision of the national instructors, using 92 types of interceptor fighters, bombers and drones, will carry out a variety of reconnaissance and photography operations, destroy air and ground targets, psychological operations, electronic warfare and passive defense. They will also test newly manufactured systems and modern equipment."
The official added: "This exercise is one of the exercises approved by the central headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) and it is planned and implemented in two directions in a bid to improve the combat ability and obtaining a suitable model for combat in real conditions by using various types of manned and unmanned aircraft."
The commander of the Air Force continued: "This exercise will be held based on the self-sufficiency and self-confidence of the Air Force, and during it, young, talented, intelligent, trained and powerful pilots, along with the expert and committed technical staff of this divine force, will use the experience of the veterans of eight years of sacred defense, combat tactics and various types of drone( UAV) operations in the form of highly precision and destruction."
Brigadier General Amir Vahedi called the important message of this exercise friendship, peace, tranquility and security in the region and said: "Sustainable security, development and consolidation of regional relations, good neighborliness and defense of the air borders of Iran are among the axes of the exercise. Iran's Air Force, along with other armed forces of Iran and under the orders of Iran's Commander–in–Chief are responsible for the security of the air space of Islamic Iran."
