Ministers in Cabinet Session;

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Interior says the country's border is to be protected in part with walls and with radar systems to minimize any trespass.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, November 6, Eskandar Momeni told reporters that the Iranian borders are being walled to ensure the sustainable security of the country and block the ways of smuggling drugs and goods into Iran.

He said that in addition to the blockage of the borders, the border-dwellers would have a share in the security of the area.

Momeni referred to his recent visit to Iraq and said that the implementation of the security agreement was among one of the important issues addressed in Iraq.

The Western-back terrorist groups occasionally carry out operations against the Islamic Republic using the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

Concerning Afghanistan, he expressed concern about the increase in the use of industrial addictive substances, in particular amphetamine, which would be a danger to the region and the world.

The Minister of Mining, Industry, and Trade talked to Iran Press about an agreement between Iran and Uzbekistan for the exchange of goods. He said that the exchangeable goods would be examined by the Trade Development Organization of Iran so that the export and import would shore up between the two countries.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development answered a question about the sanctions on the Iranian airliners, saying that the European sanctions are still in place and that the administration is trying to find alternatives for the sanctioned services.
