Tehran (IP) — In a significant step towards advancing the nation's information and communication infrastructure, a conference convened in Tehran, bringing together representatives from the private sector's knowledge-based companies.

Iran PressIran News: On Monday, the conference unfolded, showcasing the most recent triumphs and capabilities of the private sector within the realms of communication infrastructure and information technology.

Ali Asghar Ansari, Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology for Planning and Strategic Supervision, elucidated the conference's core objective, stating, "We seek to spotlight the private sector's accomplishments and prowess in communication infrastructure and information technology. As we move toward establishing extensive data processing centers, collaborations with diverse departments are underway, simultaneously prioritizing the standardization of data centers to fortify information security."

In tandem with these aspirations, Mohammad Khansari, Deputy Minister of Communications and Head of the Information Technology Organization of Iran, articulated the strategic vision of fostering at least three domestic cloud service providers. This strategic move aims to not only meet infrastructure demands but to also propel the development of the national information network.

Beyond mere discussions, the conference serves as a platform for synchronization and engagement among key stakeholders, pivotal in steering the nation's information infrastructure. Across the two-day event, participants delve into the nuances of both active and passive data center equipment, while ardently addressing industry challenges that demand innovative resolutions.

Complementing specialized discourse and lectures, an adjacent exhibition has come to life, showcasing enterprises actively involved in the realm of information infrastructure. This dynamic convergence creates an environment ripe for idea exchange and potential collaborations, fostering an atmosphere of growth and innovation.

As the conference unfolds, multifaceted topics are slated for discussion, ranging from the meticulous audit system and rating of data centers and cloud services to sustainable provisions in this sector. Moreover, a spotlight is cast on the pioneering strides achieved by domestic entities in tandem with international standards.

In the exhibition's periphery, a representative from a pioneering knowledge-based enterprise narrated the remarkable accomplishment of producing optical fiber products rivaling the quality of their European counterparts. These technological feats extend their application within data centers, showcasing their newfound affordability at half the price of their European counterparts.

Amidst these exhibitions, another noteworthy company garnered attention for developing a comprehensive scanning device, adept at minutely detecting items as diminutive as two centimeters. A crucial tool for sensitive spaces, this technology aids in uncovering concealed objects that contravene entry protocols. Notably, these high-tech innovations face challenges due to the US sanctions, which hinder the product's global exportation, despite its exceptional quality and scarcity of counterparts worldwide.

As the conference continues its discourse, a tapestry of innovation and collaboration unfurls, painting a vivid portrait of a nation fervently pushing boundaries within the realms of communication, technology, and infrastructure development.
