Tehran (IP) - The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho met Iran's Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi on June 12, 2023.

Iran PressIran news: Also, on the same day, the Tajik official met with Majid Mir-Ahmadi, Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Affairs various, and discussed with him mutual issues that concern both countries.

Economic exchanges between Iran and Tajikistan have increased over 5 times compared to the last two years, Mir-Ahmadi added.

During the joint meeting, Iran's Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi, and his Tajik deputy counterpart hold negotiations on the fight against terrorism, narcotics, terrorist activities, exchange of prisoners, and training of Tajik police forces by Iran.
