Iran Press/ Iran news: Following restrictions imposed on the departure of five Iranian nationals from the crew of the Venezuelan cargo plane in Argentina, the Latin American country's caretaker charge d'affaires in Tehran was summoned on Tuesday by the director of Iran's Foreign Ministry's second bureau for American affairs. The vigorous protests of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran were notified to the government of Argentina.
The condition of the Venezuelan plane and its Iranian staff workers is entirely legal within the framework of international laws and aviation conventions, the Foreign Ministry official added.
He noted that the continuation of the seizure of travel documents and the restriction of their exit from the country are examples of human rights violations.
Noting that the Israeli media have been attributing some unfounded allegations, which he said are indicative of the Israeli regime's hostility towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, the official said that the Iranian government has an inherent duty to defend the fundamental rights of its nationals and therefore calls upon the Argentinian government to facilitate an immediate lifting of restrictions on the Iranian crew of the Venezuelan plane.
