Iran Press/ Iran news: Israeli regime carried out strikes near Damascus early Friday, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported, the second round of aerial attacks in less than 24 hours.
According to the country's defense ministry, two Syrian soldiers had been injured in attacks early Thursday.
According to the General Department of Information and Spokesperson Affairs of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Nasser Kanaani ", the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said: "Regrettably and surprisingly, the international community did not have the expected and deterrent reaction to the aggressive and continuous military attacks of the Zionist regime on Syria, including civilian airports and even residential areas of this country."
"This issue has encouraged the aforementioned regime to continue violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent country that is a member of the United Nations and to repeat crimes against its citizens and soldiers."
The spokesperson of Iran's diplomatic apparatus considered such aggressive actions as a clear and continuous violation of international laws and regulations, as well as projective actions in order to divert attention away from the deep internal crises and divisions of this regime, as well as its dissatisfaction with the internal stability and recent successful achievements in Syria's foreign relations.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran once again called on the responsible international institutions, headed by the United Nations Security Council, to immediately fulfill their legal and recognized responsibility in the anti-aggressor action and prevent the continuation of the Zionist regime's aggression and the repeated and gross violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a UN member state.
According to the SANA report, the El Dimas area was attacked by the aggressor fighter jets of the Zionist regime.
The air defense of the Syrian army was able to intercept and destroy several of the fired rockets.
