Tehran(IP): The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting communiqué in Niigata, Japan, calling it baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting communiqué in Niigata, Japan, said: "We strongly condemn part of the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting communiqué, which makes completely baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran."

According to Iran Press on Thursday, Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: "I would like to announce to the G7 and the chairmanship and host of its meetings in this period, who with their limited members are trying to impose their demands on international multilateral mechanisms in a selective and outdated way. Instead of making such baseless accusations, we ask them to stop their unfortunate practice of accompanying and appeasing the illegal US sanctions that violate the fundamental principles of international law and human rights against the great nation of Iran."

Kanaani stressed: "Instead of participating and confirming unilateral and unfair positions, the members of this group should be accountable to the honorable people of Iran and the international community for such gross violations and actions contrary to international regulations."
