Iran Press/ Asia: The fourth round of the Para-Asian Games ended while the Iranian squad snatched 44 gold medals, setting a historic record in the games.
The Iranian athletes managed to win 44 golds, 46 silvers, and 41 bronzes which reached a total of 131 medals, standing higher than Japan and South Korea.
China stood in first place in Asia with a total of 521 medals 214 of which were gold.
In the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, Iran's Para-athlete squad stood in third place in Asia with 51 gold medals. 219
