Moscow (IP) - The 8th edition of the International Exhibition of Military-Technical arms 'ARMY-2022' kicked off with the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow's Patriot Military Park.

Iran PressEurope: Army 2022 Military-Technical arms expo kicked off today, Thursday, August 18, 2022, and will be underway in Moscow for 10 days.

Companies affiliated with Iran's Defense Industries Organization have exposed their latest achievements in the event, including reconnaissance, assault, and surveillance drones, missile defense systems, combat, and aid helicopters, light fighters, heavy and light machine guns, electronic warfare equipment, anti-tank missiles, and night vision cameras among other equipment.  

Meanwhile, a meeting was held on the sidelines of the inauguration of the expo, where the defense ministers and senior military officials of 129 countries discussed international issues. 

Deputy Chief of Iran's Armed Forces for Coordination Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi and Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, along with the members of the Iranian defense delegation, took part in the inauguration ceremony and the meeting.
