Iran Press/ West Asia: The five-day exhibition, which runs from June 9 to 13, 2024, features participation from 15 Iranian universities aiming to showcase their scientific capabilities to their counterparts in Syria.
According to Zakizadeh, the head of the exhibition, Iran's scientific approach emphasizes the growth and collaboration of universities in the region, Islamic countries, and friendly nations. This approach aims to elevate all participating institutions to a high scientific standing.
Zakizadeh also stressed that achieving a prominent scientific position is a rightful aspiration for the Islamic world. He highlighted the historical scientific achievements of the Islamic world from the second to the seventh century and expressed optimism about the potential for a renewed era of scientific progress and civilization.
During his visit to the exhibition, Bassam Ibrahim, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Syria, underscored the importance of leveraging the scientific expertise of Iranian universities. 204
