Iran, Serbia to develop cooperation in Agriculture, Mining

Tehran (IP) – Holding a bilateral webinar, Iran and Serbia reviewed developing bilateral cooperation in agriculture and mining sectors.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Head of the Iranian Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration, Alireza Shahidi, said in a joint webinar with Serbian officials: "With scientific cooperation, especially between two countries' geological organizations, the agricultural and water sectors' problems can be overcome."

Iran's Ambassador to Belgrade, Rashid Hassanpour Baei, also stated that the Iranian Embassy would not spare any effort to support and strengthen communication and continue their cooperation.

He noted that Iran has good potential in mining and energy, adding that the relationship between Iran and Serbia will create leading opportunities to build positive cooperation in the future.

Serbian Ambassador to Tehran, Dragan Todorovic, also thanked for holding the webinar and said: "The Serbian Embassy in Tehran will cooperate to strengthen relations, and we hope that the two sides' intentions in mining and energy will lead to fruitful cooperation in the near future."
