The provisional leader of Friday Prayers in Tehran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, declared that despite Western hostilities, several countries are competing to establish relations with Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking during Friday's prayer sermon held on the campus of Tehran University, the senior cleric referred to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's recent visit to Syria, emphasizing the visit's significance in strengthening the Resistance Front.

Khatami hailed the warm reception that President Raisi received in Syria, adding that it demonstrated the deep bonds between the two nations. He further stated that the deepening and expansion of Iran-Syria relations, in all dimensions, proved the effectiveness of the Leader's policy of resistance. He said Iran is the only country that stood firm and resistant in defense of Syria, while the rest of the world was against it.

According to Khatami, the fact that several governments are competing to establish ties with Iran at a fast pace, despite the Western hostilities, is a sign of God's blessing and help to the believers. The provisional leader of Friday Prayers in Tehran's remarks shed light on the strategic importance of Iran's relations with other countries in the Middle East and the global political landscape.
