The head of IRCS says Iran is ready to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through Egypt.

Iran PressIran news: "The Red Crescent is ready to provide aid to the injured people in Gaza," said Pirhossein Kolivand, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS).

He added that the Iranian Red Crescent Society is ready to send relief items and medical personnel.

"3 mobile hospitals are ready and whenever the order is allowed, they will be sent by plane," stated Kolivand.

 60 tons of medicine have been loaded and are ready to be sent, according to him.

Trucks are ready to be sent to Egypt, a ship is also being prepared to be sent, as per Kolivand.

Earlier today Egypt requested the temporary 6-hour opening of the Rafah border crossing to send aid to Gazans. 219
