Iran says defeat of Zionist enemy inevitable

Tehran (IP) - Iran’s foreign ministry congratulated the 14th anniversary of the victory of Lebanon's Islamic Resistance Movement over the Zionist regime, emphasizing that the defeat of the Zionist enemy is inevitable.

Iran PressIran News: In a message on the fourteenth anniversary of the victory of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement (Hezbollah) over the Zionist regime in the 2006 war, which marked a historic defeat for the occupying regime, Iran’s foreign ministry congratulated the Lebanese people, government, army, and resistance, especially the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah.

The message read: "This great victory, which was achieved by the internal cohesion between the various tribes and the sympathy of the Lebanese people, brought stability, security, and dignity to Lebanon and the region."

The resilience of Lebanese men and women and the struggle of the zealous youth of the resistance taught the aggressors and their terrorist supporters a lesson that protects Lebanon from the threats and aggression of the fake Israeli regime, the statement said.

The foreign ministry stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that standing up to the Zionist enemy will lead to their inevitable defeat; just as the 33-day war symbolized the resistance and strength of the people against the Zionist regime, which was accompanied by the sweet victory of the Lebanese people. Undoubtedly, the Lebanese people will always remember the sweet taste of this victory and will not allow the security, independence, and sovereignty of this country to be a toy in the hands of the enemies. And with unity and empathy, it will overcome the current crisis, and this is a great lesson to all governments and nations in the region.

In this message, the foreign ministry noted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been standing by the Lebanese people and government."

Today, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran paid a visit to Lebanon on the anniversary of this great victory and met Lebanese officials and personalities.

Iran’s foreign minister visited Lebanon to promote the constructive relations between Iran and Lebanon as two friendly and brotherly countries, and to continue the comprehensive support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Lebanese government, nation, army, and resistance.
