Iran Press/ Europe: In the first round, Yazdani defeated Kaloyan Atanasov from Bulgaria 10-0. In the next round and in the quarter-final stage, the world runner-up defeated Constantin Chirilov from Moldova 11- 0 and made it to the semi-finals.
Yazdani lost 7-6 against Ramazan Ramazanov from Bulgaria and had to go to the third-place playoff.
Yazdani's defeat in the semi-final match was unexpected and surprising as Yazdani is one of the famous Iranian wrestlers who won the world silver medal in Oslo 2021.
