Iran Press/Iran news: "Taking urgent global measures to address and tackle crises is essential, whether it is the genocide and crimes of the [Israeli] occupying regime in Gaza or the crisis caused by climate change, as we see today in the devastating wildfires in California," Mohammadreza Aref wrote on Saturday.
He added: "In today's interconnected world, the pain and suffering of one person is the pain and suffering of all; we express our sympathy with all those affected by the wildfire in California and pray for a swift recovery of the situation."
At least five wildfires are currently raging in Los Angeles, resulting in at least 10 fatalities, the destruction of over 15,000 homes, businesses, and structures, and the displacement of at least 180,000 people.
