Iran Press/ Iran News: Based on statistics from the Iranian Steel Producers Association, the export of intermediate steel products has risen by 24.9% in the last four months. This figure has increased from 2,211,000 tons to 2,761,000 tons compared to the previous year's period.
In the first four months of this year, the export of sponge iron decreased to 58 thousand tons, compared to 166 thousand tons in the same period last year.
Over the past four months, there has been a significant decrease in the export of coated sheets compared to last year. Specifically, the amount exported has decreased from 28,000 tons to 2,000 tons. This change is notable among the various types of flat products.
The rebar export has risen from 674,000 tons in the first four months of the previous year to 800,000 tons during the corresponding period this year.
According to the Iranian Steel Producers Association data, steel manufacturers have exported 66,000 tons of steel beams in the past four months, representing a more than two-fold increase from the previous year. Iran exported 32,000 tons of iron beams during the same period last year.
