Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani considered the temporary humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza as the first step towards stopping the war crimes of Israel and stressed that this action is the result of over 45 days of indescribable persistence of the resistant Palestinian people and historical struggle and resistance of resistance fighters.

Iran PressIran news: Nasser Kanani regarding the restoration of a temporary truce in Gaza, welcomed this development as the first step in completely stopping the war crimes of Israel against Palestinian citizens, women, and children.

He emphasized the continuation of efforts, initiatives, and diplomatic consultations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with various regional and international parties to support the oppressed people of Palestine and joint efforts with friendly and aligned countries in order to take immediate measures to stabilize and fully continue the ceasefire and halt the mass killing machine of Israel and stressed the urgent provision of aid to the homeless people of Gaza.

The temporary ceasefire will be effective from Friday, November 24, 2023.
