Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, this morning, Thursday at the nationwide meeting of Basij officials and Basij students of Seminaries and scholars, stated: "Basij in the thought of the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the revolution, stands as the sincere army of God, the school of love which is the school of martyrs."
President Raisi further said: "It is important for ages and generations to know the school of Basij, which cultivates lovers and mobilizes it to carry out the important mission of self-improvement and community-building.
Raisi elsewhere added: "Bassij is not an organization, an institution, a party, a particular branch and specialty, Bassij is not a specific political movement, it is the mobilization of all people who are concerned about the revolution and Islamic values and the formation of Islamic civilization.
President Raisi stated: "Basij is as vast as all social classes and dialects and all nations", adding: "Basij is a group that believes in God, the day of Judgement, and divine values."
The Iranian President added: "The goal is to form the Islamic Ummah, which is always dynamic and has a goal, an Ummah that knows the obstacles and strives to remove them, and in this way, trust in God, self-confidence and trust in the Ummah is important. Raisi, further added that the elements of movement, dynamism, purposefulness, the element of imam, authority, and leader are the characteristics of the Islamic Ummah.
Basij's thinking caused a change in the struggle against the Zionist regime
The Iranian president went on to say: "For many years, the liberation organizations wanted to move forward with agreements such as the Oslo Accords and Sharm el-Sheikh Memorandum for the liberation of Holy Quds, but with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Basij's thinking caused a change in the fight against the Zionist regime."
According to Raisi, the movement of resistance in southern Lebanon inspired by the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Islamic Revolution formed the first core of resistance in this region, thus a new movement against the Zionist regime was formed and for the first time we heard on the radio that Israeli Regime which claimed lands from the Nile to the Euphrates. retreated from southern Lebanon.
Iran's president also said: "Hezbollah and the core of the resistance were formed with the inspiration of the Islamic Revolution without relying on the East and the West." 219
