Tehran (IP) - Iran's president emphasized the necessity of developing relations between the two countries, especially in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, science and technology and cultural sectors.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Zambry Abdul Kadir, on Tuesday evening, stated that the development of a long-term strategic cooperation plan between the two countries draws new horizons in Iran-Malaysia interactions.

Raisi added: "We hope that by preparing and compiling this program for stratgefic cooperation, we will be able to experience new ways, especially in increasing relations and economic ties."

In this meeting, the Foreign Minister of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir also stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a very important partner for his country in the region and across the Islamic world.

Malaysian Foreign Minister, emphasizing that his country will never recognize the cruel US sanctions against Iran, stated that joint meetings with the officials of the Islamic Republic during this trip was indeed a very positive diplomacy.
