Iran Press/Iran news: Accompanied by a number of state and army officials and cabinet ministers, Hassan Rouhani spoke among the people of Chabahar County’s Kalani Village and said, "Be sure that the government and all of us are alongside you and will solve your problems.”
"You are the dear border guards of our country located near the border with the friendly country of Pakistan, and have problems because of the floods,” the President noted.
“Unfortunately, the recent rainfalls have made problems for the people of this area, flooding houses, and closing roads,” he said.
The President continued, "Fortunately, the Meteorological Organisation (IRIMO) forecasted the floods before the rainfalls began and had issued the necessary warnings, which is very important, helping us prevent loss of lives in these floods. Of course, the financial losses can be compensated.”
Appreciating the IRIMO for forecasting the floods, he said, "We urge the Meteorological Organisation to continue these timely announcements and warnings.”
“The government will seriously pursue rebuilding roads and bridges,” added the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He continued, "Fortunately, the power is on now and the other problems will be resolved soon.”
Rouhani added, "Our people displayed an exemplary unity by standing up to the enemies and Zionists’ plots.”
Stating that Sistan and Baluchistan province has endured a lot of problems and hardships for years, he said, "These hardships must be compensated for”.
“The province’s railway project has begun and the Leader allowed us to allocated 300 million euros for completing it,” he said.
The President also said, “Our relations with Pakistan are good and even better than ever. This border must be the border of friendship and trade. This is why we stress that border markets should be created.” 101
