Tehran (IP) - Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian President-Elect will be endorsed by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and his presidency terms officially will be inaugurated on July 28.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian President-Elect Masoud Pezeshkian in a ceremony in attendance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will be endorsed and his term of Presidency officially will be inaugurated.

The ceremony of official endorsement of Masoud Pezeshkian as the president of the 14th Iranian administration will be held at Imam Khomeini Husseiniayah with the participation of Iranian senior officials and military commanders.

Earlier Mojtaba Yousefi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s presiding board, announced that the ceremony for the President-Elect swearing ceremony will be held on July 30 at the Islamic Republic of Iran Parliament by attendance of Iranian senior officials and foreign guests.

Pezeshkian, 69, was elected as the ninth president of Iran after the votes of the July 5 presidential runoff counted.

Masoud Pezeshkian, a heart surgeon, won 16,384,403 votes while Jalili stood behind him with 13,538,179 ballots.
