Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, arrived in Beirut today on his way to Geneva for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Before heading to Switzerland, Ghalibaf is scheduled to hold talks with Lebanese officials, affirming Iran’s support for Lebanon's resistance movements and the nation's resilience against the crimes committed by the Israeli regime.

Ghalibaf is expected to leave Beirut for Geneva later this evening after his meetings.

A significant portion of his upcoming speeches at the IPU summit, which begins tomorrow, will focus on condemning Israeli atrocities and voicing support for resistance groups.

His aim is to convey the message of Lebanon's suffering and defiance to the international community.
