Tehran (IP)- The head of Iran's Plan and Budget Organization (PBO) has said since March 21, 2023 (the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year), the country's oil revenues have increased by 42%.

Iran PressIran News: During a speech at the Parliament, Davoud Manzour highlighted that more than 1.4 million barrels of oil and gas condensates are being exported daily in line with the budget law.

Manzour expressed his appreciation for the constructive cooperation between the Parliament and the government and between the Parliament's Plan, Budget, Audit Committee, and PBO. This collaboration has played a crucial role in achieving these positive results.

Iran's Oil Minister, Javad Owji, also shared encouraging news regarding crude output. He stated that Iran currently produces 3.19 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil and one billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas daily. Furthermore, Owji highlighted that Iran's oil production capacity stands at an impressive 3.85 million bpd.

Adding to this optimistic outlook, Mohsen Khojastehmehr, Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company, projected that Iran's crude production will reach 3.5 million bpd by September 22, 2023. Khojastehmehr noted that in August 2021, when the current administration took over, Iran's oil output stood at 2.2 million bpd.

These developments indicate a promising trajectory for Iran's oil industry and underscore its potential for growth in the coming months.
