Tehran (IP) - The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) says the technologies being used in Iran's nuclear facilities are fully indigenized."

Iran PressIran news: The Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami, held a presser on the occasion of the 16th National Nuclear Technology Day, April 6, 2022, to discuss the industry's salient achievements, discussing the latest on both national and international spheres.

Mohammad Eslami said that it is important to recognize the technology that has been achieved in Iran based on research: "Enrichment, which has taken a lot of time and money, today, the fuel cycle in Iran, from the zero point of the mine to the complexes and plants that are produced, is entirely Iranian."

He added: "Cycle, industry and nuclear capacity is not something that is available to everyone, but it is a kind of technology that is in the possession of several countries and now Iran has broken the monopoly."

He said Iran is to build all-home-made nuclear power plants to achieve a better level of power plants.

"Iran had planned to build an entirely Iranian-built power plant in Khuzestan province," the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami also said on Tuesday.

"We are planning to build a 360-megawatt power plant in Darkhovin. This project will be an all-Iranian made power plant, which we have included in the development plan along with the research reactors required by the organization," Eslami added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Eslami announced that the comprehensive development document of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran would be unveiled on April 9.

The document has passed the legal approval process and will be unveiled by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on April 9th, according to Eslami.

The document includes all the aspects of Iranian nuclear technology and its industrialization, as well as the recommendations emphasized by the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past years.
