Iran Press/Europe: Heading a delegation, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi went to Vienna to participate in the 62nd Annual Regular Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s General Conference.
Salehi is expected to meet with his counterparts from other countries and discuss the bilateral ties.
He is scheduled to confer with his counterparts and the IAEA officials, implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and world powers in 2015.
The 62nd IAEA General Conference is set for 17-21 September 2018 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in Vienna, Austria, where high-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA member-states will consider a range of issues, IAEA website reported.
Earlier On July 25, 2018 In an exclusive interview with Iran Press correspondent,Ali Akbar Salehi, called Iran as the first Islamic country and probably the first developing country which has achieved this technology.
Furthermore, on Sep 10, 2018 , IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said that Iran is implementing its' nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Further More on July 5, 2018, in a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, IAEA chief Yukiya Amano had one again stressed that Iran is living up to its commitments made under the 2015 international nuclear deal.
Speaking with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano on Wednesday in Vienna, Rouhani said “JCPOA was a great success for diplomacy and IAEA and continuation of this success depends only on balance of all parties’ commitment."
President Hassan Rouhani stressed that if the rights of the Iranian nation under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) are not met, there is no reason for us to stay in the deal, adding “Iran’s nuclear activities have always been peaceful."
"Iran’s nuclear activities have always been peaceful, but it is Tehran that decides on the level of its cooperation with the IAEA," he said.
"The responsibility for a change in the situation and the level of Iran's cooperation with the agency falls on those who have created the new status quo," he added.
JCPOA is a very important agreement for Iran, EU and the world, he said, adding: "What United States did was against the law, UNSC resolutions and multilateral obligations, and without a doubt, this will be to the US and others' detriment".
US President Donald Trump announced on May 8 that Washington was walking away from the nuclear agreement, which was reached between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China - plus Germany.
